Do you ever see my files?

No. Never. Our tools are built using 'Client-Side Only' technology. When you select a file, it stays in your browser's memory. We do not have a server that receives your files, which makes it impossible for us (or anyone else) to see your documents.

What do 'Upload' and 'Download' actually mean here?

In UniForm, 'Upload' is just a standard way to say 'Open a file from my computer'. It doesn't go to the internet. Similarly, 'Download' means the browser has finished the work in your memory and is now saving the result back to your disk.

Is it really free?

Yes. Because we don't have to pay for massive data centers to process your files (your own computer does the work!), our costs are very low. We keep it free for everyone.

Can I use these tools offline?

Yes! For most tools, once the page is loaded, you can turn off your Wi-Fi and the converter or editor will still work perfectly because all the 'brains' of the tool are already in your browser.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no hard limit from our side. The only limit is how much memory (RAM) your computer or phone has available. Most modern devices can handle very large PDFs and high-res images without issue.
